The Howei x Thunder 10K Challenge 2026 is an exciting community-driven running event set to take place on 16 August 2026 (Sunday) at Padang MBSP Abdullah Badawi, Bagan Luar. Jointly organised by Howei and Thunder Runners Club, this event aims to bring together 1,000 to 1,500 participants from all walks of life—ranging from competitive runners to casual fitness enthusiasts.

Featuring both a 10KM Competitive Race and a 5KM Fun Run, the event offers something for everyone. The 10KM category will include Men Open, Women Open, Men Veteran, and Women Veteran, complete with timing chips for accurate race results and Top 10 prizes for each category. Meanwhile, the 5KM Fun Run encourages families, friends, and beginners to enjoy a fun and active morning together.

Beyond the race itself, the event introduces engaging team challenges such as the Fastest Team, creating a lively and interactive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and creativity.

The event will also feature a variety of attractions and experiences, including hydration support, café booths, food vendors, and a lucky draw, ensuring a vibrant race village for all participants. In addition, a running clinic will be organized ahead of the event to help participants prepare and enhance their running experience.
